Scope of Work: Mariners are advised that the survey vessels,
MV Titan Explorer
and
Tango
will be conducting a detailed Multibeam Echosounder (MBES) bathymetric, Sub-
bottom Boomer and Sidescan Sonar geophysical survey in the vicinity of Holyhead
Harbour. In addition to survey ops, a mooring will be present on site for the duration of 30
days. See 1.2 for details.
The Titan Explorer will be displaying the relevant IRPCS day shapes and night lights and
both vessels will be restricted in their ability to manoeuvre. The vessels will be operating on
a 12hr basis, undertaking daylight working operations with scope for working longer shifts
on occasion. The
Titan Explorer
will be operating with towed gear so a safe operating
distance is requested around the survey vessel.
